Gluten Free trip to London

I had a fabulous few days in London last week. I was blown away by the gluten free options, I just wish I had more time there now, some places were so good that I ended up there twice! As usual I will get straight to the good stuff....

1. Paladar

This place is 100% Gluten Free Latin American cuisine and it was amazing! We got the pulled pork corn tortillas, green plantain crisps with guacamole, and tapioca cheese croquettes. I've had plantain crisps before but these ones we exceptional. Croquettes were a little too cheesy for me but still had a really nice texture. Everything was so tasty, I'd highly recommend to check out this places.

2. Pizza Pilgrims

My friend gave us a voucher for this place when we arrived so of course I headed over to see if they had any gluten free options. Not only did they do gluten free but they have their own homemade bases at no extra cost, which was amazing. The pizza looked and tasted so good I immediately started thinking is was not gluten free and asked the waitress to double check 🙈 Turns out it was gluten free and they get that a lot because it's miles better than regular gluten free pizzas!

3. Honest Burgers

When you wake into a restaurant and they ask you "Hey, do you need an allergen menu?" you know it's going to be good! We ended up going to the one near London Bridge as it was near where we were staying. Almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free and they swap out the bun for a gluten free one. On the first trip here I got the smash burger and fries and onion rings and wings to share. Everything was delicious, but I have to say the wings were the stand out ones. Ended up back here for a second time for handiness when we were in Soho and I had to try the Buffalo fried chicken burger which was incredible! I've seen a lot of posts on insta for Honest Burgers and it did not disappoint.

4. Korean Bistro Bibida in Soho

Stumbled across this place when strolling around Chinatown in Soho. I spotted the GF symbols in the menu in the window. I got the Fried Chicken Bibimbap and it was incredible. A Bibimbap is a rice bowl topped with all sorts of seasoned sautéed vegetables. Everyone loved it, even the gluten eaters!

5. Cheeky Chicos

Our friends brought us here and got the pork belly tacos. Super tasty, not too many GF items on the menu but the place was really cool with class artwork on the walls.
